Up to 500,000 sq ft of retail space will be available at King's Cross, from the finest the high street has to offer to locally run and independent shops, boutique units and convenience stores.

160,000 sq ft (1,4864 sqm) of the retail offer is based in conservation areas and historic buildings and will attract a diverse range of eclectic stores, food ‘clusters’ and outdoor seasonal markets.

The main focus will be the brick arches of the Coal Drops which sits alongside Granary Square and the Regent's Canal, creating one of the most unique destination retailing offers in London.

A supermarket/concept store is also planned, whilst Michelin-starred restaurants and local cafés will ‘spill-out’ into the public realm both north and south of the canal.

The King's Cross offer will add to the new 90,000 sq ft (8,361 sqm) of retail and catering already open in St Pancras International Station and the extensive retail facilities that will open in the new King's Cross Station concourse in 2011.

King's Cross offers the most diverse retail opportunity in Central London.
