On the north-east corner of Building B2, designed by David Chipperfield Architects is a proposed underground subway entrance. The open entrance is under cover of the colonnade around Building B2.

This access point allows the travelling public to access all six tube lines at King's Cross St Pancras tube station via the new Northern Ticket Hall - opened in November 2009.
