Business support for the National Diplomas is essential to their delivery. Our support is co-ordinated by the Education Business Partnerships and has included support for Gateway Bids and provision of curriculum material. For example, our marketing team have provided a case study for the Creative and Media Diploma.

The development provides a wealth of material for a number of the diplomas and we are beginning to develop more long term partnerships around specific subjects. For example, we are working with City and Islington College to develop curriculum materials and work experience projects for the Environmental and Land Based Studies (ELBS) Diploma. This partnership has been identified as best practice.

The partnership with City and Islington College has been identified as best practice. We hosted a visit in July 2010 for London network of ELBS practitioners to showcase ways of working and links between the construction sector and ELBS curriculum.
