Spring 2008

In partnership with our business partners, we have hosted a careers carousel event for the past 2 years in the German Gymnasium for local schools. Each company set up a station with information on careers in their industry and demonstration activities to engage interest. Activities were diverse and included building structures from various materials, including spaghetti and marshmallows, and constructing bug boxes

- 31 pupils participated
Feedback / Outcomes

- 91% found skills they didn't realise they had
-100% found activities useful in developing entrepreneurial skills
- 67% found help to make a decision about future learning and development
