The Boulevard
The Boulevard will provide a new route from the two rail termini in the South rising to Regent's Canal and the Granary in the North.
It will be a typical London street with tree-lined pavements on the west side and arcading underneath the office buildings on the east side.
Retail units populate both sides of the street, with a varied mix of quality high street shops and potentially a small department store. One of the buildings could house a large luxury hotel.
Although the route is a two-way street, it is restricted to pedestrians, cyclists, buses and taxis. The Boulevard will also provide taxi and pedestrian access to Pancras Square to the east and an entrance to the underground system about a third of the way up.
The design allows for the introduction of a branch of the Cross River Tram with a potential station stop close to the two rail termini.
